Michael Rigby, 21, removed his toilet and sink from the wall in his cell and bore his way to the outside.Rigby escaped February 18, and is accused - along with other members of his gang - of opening fire at a birthday party last year, reports stated. Rigby is the leader of the gang.Investigators reported Rigby removed the toilet/sink apparatus from his cell wall, which then led to a plumbing and piping system through which he scurried. The system led to an open yard area where he exited the gates of the facility.Officials have long been concerned about security at the jail, reporting inmates have been able to break open their cells by forcefully shaking and kicking them open, according to reports.Rigby is still on the loose, but his father Brian Rigby, 51, and grandmother, Regenia Ralph, 79 have been arrested for allegedly helping Rigby flee Florida, reports stated. The two are held without bail at the same facility from which he escaped. His grandmother however is pleading for her grandson to turn himself in.
