Darnell Hartsfield is charged with the abduction and slaying of those five people. A judged moved the trial from Rusk County to Brazos County due to publicity surrounding the case. Jury selection is underway in the second of the K-F-C murder trials. In September 1983, five people were killed at the Kilgore, Texas K-F-C Restaurant.The jury is scheduled to begin hearing evidence next Monday. Hartsfield's cousin, 49-year old Romeo Pinkerton pleaded guilty to his role in the slayings in October 2007.
