Twenty-eight felony arrests were made during a one-day operation Wednesday that targeted Southeast Asian gangs in Fresno, police said Thursday.
Of the 28 arrests, 16 were Southeast Asian gang members, Sgt. Alex Robles reported.
The operation was ordered by Fresno police Chief Jerry Dyer after a rash of gang-on-gang shootings in Fresno during the past month.

I'm glad to know that our street is safer. I am of Cambodian origin and I know that growing up there were alot of racisms and hatred. It's like a never ending cycle. Hopefully this cycle can be broken.
